Congratulations to our class elected Superstar of the Month for October, Sadie!! We are so proud of you!
We had a great day! We began exploring area and perimeter in small math groups today, and we will continue this work tomorrow. Students worked with graph paper to create rectangle. They explored length and width and then created equations to determine the area and perimeter. Students also played a review math game that required rounding, and worked on Compass Learning.We completed a provocation about processes of change. We completed an observation using ice, a pan, and a hot plate. Student observed and recorded their observations in their IB Journals. Ask your child to tell you more!
Dr. Root came for a lesson about apologizing. She talked with our class about a four step apology. Ask your child to tell you more!!
Don't forget to send in your forms for Movie night, and our Village Gathering is scheduled for this Friday at 8:00. Students came home with a schedule for our Thanksgiving Luncheon on November 18th. Please make note that our scheduled time is different from our normal lunch time. If you plan to attend, please complete the half sheet that went home in communication folders and return it as soon as possible. We hope you can join us!
