Friday, March 6th

Sharing with each other some areas we have shown growth and areas that we want to improve on during this term!  We then completed a reflection on our Learner Profile Attributes.

Sometimes it's fun to just read on the floor with friends!

We dissected our Central Idea, and worked to come up with a meaning for the word orientation!

Students worked with a partner, and each partner sketched the same space object!  The catch was that only one partner could zoom in for a closer look.  This helped us get an understanding of how location can affect perspective.

No art....No problem!!!  We used our knowledge and understanding of symmetry to design beautiful pieces!

The Black History Month Living Wax Museum was an absolutely amazing event!

IB says that we all have skills to learn that help us approach learning and be successful!  We explored those categories and determined the times in school that we are given to practice those skills.

These are some pieces of art created by our class that are hung by the art room!  So amazing!

Naked Mole Rat: The Rock Experience at The Alliance Theater did not disappoint!

We are designing coffee table tops with tiles for a furniture store to practice adding and subtracting fractions!
