We created a chart this morning to assist us with using clues from our text to determine the main idea of the text. Students were able to identify several text features that will assist in determining the main idea. Ask your child to tell you more!
Students presented their explorer today. Presentations went very well. I am excited to see what the students can do when they have even more time and experience with the Keynote app. Tomorrow they will be given a study guide the will cover the explorers. This will help them study for the test on Monday.
We worked on some word problems during math today. Students analyzed multi-step word problems and worked to find the solution using strategies learned in class.
