Happy Monday!
We had a great start to the week! We continued practice with multiplication and exponents. Small groups continued working on their games. They are working diligently to proof read their instructions and create their materials. We are looking forward to playing the games and using them for future 4th graders.
We had our last visit to the media center this morning. During this time, students worked to set reading goals for the summer. They are hanging in the media center, and students will reflect on their goals when they return for 5th grade. Ask your child to tell you about their goals!
We have also been working to complete our I believe pieces for writing. Our next step is to create a movie about our I believe pieces. Students may need to bring in items or pictures to use in their movies. Please assist them with finding items to bring to school to work on this task this week.
We will be having a class picnic this Friday during our regular lunch time at 11:20. Thank you to a generous parent for winning this item for our class in the F.AVE online auction. Students should plan to bring or purchase their lunch as they normally would. We will take our lunch to the small park by the lower playground. Parents are welcome to join us to eat or just to visit. Ms. Ehmer and I will be bringing some additional treats to enjoy.
Check your red folders for information about our Learning Celebration next Thursday at 1:30 in our classroom. We hope you can join us to celebrate a wonderful school year!
