We had a busy Thursday. We worked to construct and classify polygons utilizing different types of graph paper. Students will be practicing for homework tonight. Quadrilaterals have been our focus this week. Students have enjoyed learning about their attributes. Ask your child to tell you more about the attributes of a trapezoid and which shapes can be classified as such!
We had our last class trip to the media center today, and tomorrow is the last day to check out library books. All books are due to the media center by May 21st.
Please remind your student of the importance of maintaining appropriate behavior and expectations for the remainder of the school year. We have many exciting things occurring, but we are also still working hard on assignments, projects, and assessments to cover our standards for the year. Thank for you support!
TOMORROW IS FIELD DAY!! We will be leaving very close to 7:45 to walk to McKoy Park. It is important that your child is on time for school. Please be sure to have a water bottle, appropriate shoes, and attire for the day. Don't forget sunscreen and come ready for fun!! GO FIGHTING PICKLES!!
