Happy Tuesday!
We had a busy start to our week! Students continued to utilize models to provide evidence of fractional equivalence between tenths and hundredths. They completed a short assessment and will have another short assessment tomorrow.
We continued our inquiry into analyzing first and second hand accounts. Students utilized checklists to determine important characteristics of each style of writing and created venn diagrams to model similarities and differences between two pieces on the same topic.
Students utilized a check list to reflect on the first two chapters of their informational piece. The checklists allowed students to determine which components of their writing are completed and which need to be completed. We are making great progress on our pieces!
