We had a very and fun day!
Our class enjoyed our first trip to the media center today. The learned about the media center and were given a peak at our author who will be visiting on September 9th. We then checked out our first books of the school year!
We also enjoyed a lesson from our counselor, Ms. Patino. Students completed a getting to know you activity and discussed the importance of learning more about their classmates. Ask your child to tell you more!
Just a reminder that MAP testing will begin tomorrow morning at 7:55. We spoke this afternoon about the importance of taking a breath and trying your best, even if it is difficult. Students should come prepared with a book to read when they have finished testing.
