Happy Tuesday!

We continue to have a great week!  Students were given a new seat this morning, and seating is adjusted on an as needed basis.

We continued our inquiry into our classroom community by completing a math about me activity.  Students provided equations to be solved by a classmate to learn a little something about them (ex: birthdate, age, number of pets, etc.)  They enjoyed being creative with their equations and working to challenge their peers.

We inquired into what it means to be an IB learner.  Students worked in groups to respond the questions below.  After a brief discussion, the answers were shared, and they were all quite surprised!  Ask your child to tell you more about the type of learner IB is encouraging us to become!

We appreciate your patience and understanding as we delayed dismissal this afternoon due to a lightning storm.  Please be sure that your child has a "rainy day plan" in place with you, especially if they are walking or biking to and from school.
