Good afternoon, everyone!
Students explored functional writing as an expository text and even completed a math assignment during our reading time. They also completed a reading station. We will finish our stations for the week tomorrow.
We explored levers today and the effects of moving the fulcrum closer or further from the load. We will continue with further lever experimentation tomorrow.
Students also completed a math assessment.
During this time of the year, when the weather is warmer and spring is upon us, students tend to get antsy. We had a brief discussion about the importance of maintaining our focus and doing our best in the classroom. Please, help support this discussion by reminding your child of these important responsibilities.
