We had a busy day.
Students continued working on their writing pieces. Most began publishing today. Students are working hard to complete all of their revisions and edits prior to publishing. They are reminded that the published piece is their best and final work, so they should take their time when completing their piece.
Small groups presented their information about their simple machine today. Students were able to take notes during the presentations. This information should have come up for them to study.
We enjoyed our lunch with the 3rd graders from Glennwood. Ask your child to tell you about their visit!
After working on word problems, students completed a math station. They will continue working with Compass Learning, Whittzle, Fraction Dominoes, Comparing Decimals, and Solving word problems tomorrow and possibly into next week.
Tomorrow is the last day to send in order forms for Chris Grabenstein books and variety show participation forms.
