Tuesday, March 10th

We had a wonderful day!

Students began working in reading stations and math stations today.  I love watching them work in small groups.  It is fun to see them collaborate on assignments and play learning games.

We continued our work with decimals today as we branched into hundredths.  Students were able to use a meter stick as a reference for hundredths.  The compared 1 centimeter to 1/10 meter.  During math stations, they played fractions dominoes, worked to solve word problems, practice multiplication facts, worked on compass learning, and practiced with decimals.

We prepared for a science activity that we will begin on Thursday.

We are looking forward to our 4th grade luncheon on Thursday.  Our time is 11:40 -12:10.

On Friday, we are excited to have visitors from the Wylde Center joining our class in our school garden.  We are also really looking forward to explorations on Friday.

Be sure to check the upcoming events for this month.  See you tomorrow!
