It was another great day!
We completed our text structures lesson this morning, and we completed a reading station.
We continued analyzing our painting of manifest destiny. Students were able to come up with a definition for manifest destiny. We also looked at the growth of America so far and how it will continue to grow.
Ask your child to tell you about our fun experiment today that helped explain Newton's 3rd Law of motion - for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. It involved hot wheels tracks, two canisters, a penny, water, and alka seltzer.
Students were introduced to decimal fractions and decimals today. They used a ruler to analyze centimeters and create equations that equal one whole centimeter.
We are looking forward to Portfolio Night/Student-Led Conferences this evening.
Don't forget that our luncheon is next Thursday. Please send in your RSVPs.
See you in the morning!
