We had a great morning with division! Students worked to solve division equations using number discs as a model. They were able to break apart their number discs into groups and determine a remainder. Our class is enjoying working in small groups for station activities.
We explored the terms rotate and revolve today. Ask your child to tell you about our movement activity (hint: I was the sun).
Students worked to revise/edit their drafts about their country. We talked about run-on sentences and explored different punctuation that may be added to sentences to make them complete. Some students are almost ready to publish their books!
Our field trip to Agnes Scott is this Thursday. Students will rotate through different stations to experience different points in history. There is a shop, and students will have the opportunity to purchase items from the shop. This is not mandatory. I have sent home the list with pricing information. It is also posted below. I have spoken to the class about bringing correct change with them if they wish to make a purchase.
