Happy Tuesday! I missed the Superstars yesterday. So happy to be back with them today.
We started with CogAT testing. Testing will continue tomorrow and Thursday. Thank you for coming to school on time!
During science we examined the characteristics of starts. Students created a chart in their IB journals, and then answered the question, "Do stars twinkle? Why or why not?" Ask your child to tell you more!
Students continue to practice utilizing nonfiction text features and questioning before reading to better understand their nonfiction books/passages. They have been working hard to complete their reading reflections. Most students have completed their first and are already working on their second book.
Tomorrow is Walk and Roll to school! Please walk or ride your bike to school in the morning, if you are able.
Field trip forms were sent home in agendas today. They are due back by October 15th.
Next week is FAVE Spirit Week!!
