We had another busy and productive day.
Students worked with Ms. Theisen to inquire further into the properties of light and how it passes through objects. Ask your child to tell you more about reflection, refraction, absorption, and transmission!
We continued to explain the compromises made during The Constitutional Convention. Students can explain The Great Compromise, The 3/5 Compromise, and The Slave Trade Compromise.
Some Genuis Hour groups are working to publish their Geometry Town. As city planners, they were challenged to create a city with given criteria related to lines, shapes, and angles. Ask your child to tell you more!
Field trip forms and money are due on January 29th. See yesterday's post if you are interested in signing up to lead or assist with College and Career Explorations.
As winter finally arrives, be sure that you have the most up to date information and phone numbers in our computer systems. If you need to make a change, you can e-mail, send a note, or call Ms. Baker at the front desk.
Have a great night!
